BYUtv Brings Back “All-Round Champion” for Season 2

10 new teen athletes take on each other’s winter sports

PROVO, Utah, Aug. 6, 2020 /PRNewswire/ — BYUtv, a family entertainment network available over cable, satellite and free streaming, today announced at the Television Critics Association Summer Press Tour that “All-Round Champion” season two will premiere Tuesday, Sept. 22 at 8 p.m. ET/6 p.m. MT/5 p.m. PT. The inspirational unscripted series, co-produced by BYUtv and marblemedia, assembles ten of North America’s most decorated young winter athletes to compete in the ultimate winter sports competition. The catch? They won’t be competing in their own sports; they’ll be competing in each other’s. Scored on skill, sportsmanship and improvement, the athlete with the most points at the end will be crowned the All-Round Champion. 

Two-time Olympian and two-time world champion hurdler Perdita Felicien returns to host the series, which also features internationally renowned guest mentors, including Olympic gold and silver medalist Derek Parra in speed skating, Olympic gold and silver medalist Jennifer Heil in freestyle skiing, two-time Olympic gold medalist Kaitlyn Lawes in curling, Olympic gold medalist Jamie Salé in figure skating, Olympic gold medalist Beckie Scott in cross-country skiing, Olympic silver medalist Noelle Pikus-Pace in skeleton, Olympic silver medalist Max Parrot in snowboarding, Olympic bronze medalist Erin Hamlin in luge, world champion Sarah Hendrickson in ski jumping, two-time North American champion Gordon McArthur in ice climbing and three-time Iditarod champion Mitch Seavey in dog mushing.

• SNOWBOARDING: Tristan Robles (14; Warwick, N.Y.)

• SPEED SKATING: Adam Law (15; Mississauga, Ontario)
